The wedding day
 
On your wedding day, you should always arrange for your bridal hair to be done first, as the make-up can melt with the heat of the hairdryer, curling tongs etc. 
 
If you are having your hair put up or curled don't wash your hair on the day, otherwise it will all fall off faster and it will be very difficult for the bridal hairdresser to style it, although washing it the day before is fine.
 
The hair and make-up artist will allow approximately 1 hour for your makeup to be done and about the same for your hairstyle but this depends on complexion and hair style chosen, usually having your hair put up takes longer than a blow dry or curling.
 
You should put your wedding dress after having had your make-up and hairstyling done, because even though we always use overalls, this will avoid your wedding dress getting creased or accidentally stained.  The make-up artist / hairdresser can help you put on your wedding dress if you need assistance.

Bridal Make-up and hair trial
 
We strongly recommend you to book your hair and make-up trial as soon as possible as this will allow the make-up artist / hair stylist to be prepared and have all the necessary equipment with her on your wedding day and also to work out what works with you best.
 
This will also allow you to see what you will look like on your wedding day.  We would also advise you to take a photograph of yourself after you have had your wedding make-up and hairstyling trial to see what you will look like on photographs as they will be the memory you will have left of the day!!
 
Some people like to have their bridal hair and make-up trial done before they go out so that they can keep it for the day, this is a good idea but please bear in mind that the make-up artist may want to try a different style or colour in one of your eyes before making a decision on which one you will be having on your wedding day.
 
The price of the make-up and hair styling trial is the same one than the price of the wedding make-up and hair.  The reason for this is that we have a flat fee policy and the bridal make-up artist / hairstylist will be going to your house and do exactly the same thing she would do on your wedding day so, the price is the same. 
 
The bridal hair and make-up trial run is not included on the price for the wedding day, you find that other hair and make-up artists sell you a 'package' that includes the bridal make-up and hair trial, but have you thought what happens if you are not happy with the hairstyling or bridal make-up trial?  You are stuck with that make-up artist / wedding hairdresser because you have already paid her.  With us, if you don't like the bridal hair and make up trial you don't have to book us for your wedding day as you just pay for the trial and only after the trial you confirm your booking for your wedding day.  And if you are tempted to think that a 'package' is cheaper, get your calculator and work it out, you will see that it is not, because we are keeping our margins to the bare minimum.
 
Some make-up and hair artists charge more for the bridal make-up and hairstyling on the actual wedding day without justification but not us.
